چکیده

OVER AN ARBITRARILY VARYING CHANNEL Rudolf Ahlswede and Ning Cai Abstract It is well{known that the deterministic code capacity (for the average error probability criterion) of an arbitrarily varying channel (AVC) either equals its random code capacity or zero. Here it is shown that if two components of a correlated source are additionally available to the sender and receiver, respectively, the capacity always equals its random code capacity.

An Outer Bound to the Admissible Source Region of Discrete Memoryless Arbitrarily Varying General Broadcast Channels

In this paper we apply the “potential function method” introduced by the authors in [5] and [6] to prove an outer bound on the admissible source region of an arbitrarily varying general broadcast channel with arbitrarily correlated sources. We are not aware of any previous work discussing any interesting outer bounds on the admissible source region of the general broadcast channel either when t...

Classical-Quantum Arbitrarily Varying Wiretap Channel

The arbitrarily varying channel models transmission over a channel with an state that can change over time. We may interpret it as a channel with an evil jammer. The arbitrarily varying channel was first introduced by Blackwell, Breiman, and Thomasian in [8]. The wiretap channel models communication with security. It was first introduced by Wyner in [12]. We may interpret it as a channel with a...

Transmission of Correlated Messages over the Broadcast Channel

New architectures for transmission of correlated messages over the broadcast channel is presented. We propose to use graphs as digital interface between source coding and channel coding since the correlation structure of sources can be maintained. An achievable rate region for broadcast channels with correlated messages is presented. We consider graphs to represent correlated messages, and to t...

Correlated Decoding for Channels with Arbitrarily Varying Channel Probability Functions

Let X = I1, " '" , a}, Y = {1, ' " , b} be finite sets. A stochastic matrix w with a rows and b columns will be called a channel. X, Y are the input and output alphabets (respectively) of the channel. We denote the set of all channels with input alphabet X and output alphabet Y by e (X, Y). A channel w E C (X, Y) can be used for communication from one person, the sender, to another person, the ...
